Kuit was a wellknown pint in the Middle Ages. Known everywhere, but mainly brewed in Gouda where more than two hundred brewers brewed this \u2018pint\u2019. As an export product, the beer was simply a strong brand. Gouds (Keyte) was famous as far away as Amsterdam, Brussels and Ghent, and the people of Antwerp drank no less than 150 litres per capita per year. During this BeerWalk, our guests will discover five of the current Gouda craft beers and there is even \u2018stroopwafel bier\u2019 accompanied by a stroopwafel. We walk past the old breweries and important buildings that were realized thanks to ‘beer money’, such as the beautiful town hall. In Gouda you may ask yourself: what came first, water or beer. In addition, to the other tastings we\u2019ll drink a tasting glass of beer in the best Beer Caf\u00e9 in the Netherlands: De Goudse Eend.
